Job Summary

Pyyne is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with experience working with .

NET C# to work as a Consultant for a large US-based Insurance client out of our Brazilian Office.

A successful candidate in this role will be a capable player-coach, able to provide technical support to mid-level and junior developers, while contributing to the team's codebase themselves.

The Pyyne team will interact regularly and directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders in the client organization.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain web applications using .

NET Framework / .

NET Core and C#

Build responsive user interfaces using MVC architecture and React components

Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and queries

Implement Entity Framework for data access layer and ORM functionality

Apply dependency injection principles and design patterns for scalable application architecture

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards across the team

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in insurance applications and systems

Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on best practices

Contribute to system architecture decisions and technology roadmap planning

Must Have Skills

5+ years of professional software development experience in an Agile work environment

Strong proficiency in .

NET Framework / .

NET Core and C# programming

Extensive experience with ASP.NET MVC for web application development

Solid understanding of React.js and modern JavaScript ES6+

Advanced SQL Server skills including query optimization and database design

Hands-on experience with Entity Framework (Code First and Database First approaches)

Strong knowledge of dependency injection patterns and IoC containers

Experience with RESTful API development and integration

Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles

Nice to Have Skills

Experience in insurance domain or financial services industry in a consulting capacity

Knowledge of Azure cloud services and deployment strategies

Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Experience with automated testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, Jest)
