Overview

A Médico (UTI) – Emergências Clínicas will cover night shift rotations and weekends in the UTI, providing comprehensive critical care to patients.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care and support the multidisciplinary team in the UTI.

Perform and mentor procedures in critically ill patients.

Make decisions on admission, triage and discharge of UTI patients.

Participate in teaching activities for residents of Intensive Care, Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine.

Assist in research activities and unit management as directed by leadership.

Qualifications

Graduated in Medicine.

Completed Residency in Anesthesiology, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Cardiovascular Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Neurosurgery, Neurology, Infectology or Critical Care Residency with expected completion by Feb

Active CRM registration.

Skills : airway management, bedside ultrasound, ultrasound-guided vascular access, thoracentesis, percutaneous tracheostomy, pacemaker; critical care expertise; advanced monitoring; mechanical ventilation; renal replacement; ECMO; hemodynamics; neurointensive care; nutrition; communication and conflict resolution.

Selection Process

1st stage : Title evaluation – curriculum review and documentation assessment.

2nd stage : Written test (optional).

3rd stage : Practical test or group dynamics (optional).

4th stage : Interview.
