Purpose of the position

The Senior Operations Manager will develop and continuously improve the safety, delivery capability, quality and productivity of the Operations.

This includes ensuring that the operation has the correct level of competence, motivation and efficiency in order to be competitive and meet profitability, quality and growth objectives.

Main Tasks And Responsibilities

Safety

Promoting the importance of Environmental, Health and Safety culture, with the responsibility of securing own and co-workers' safety and health at all times in line with the Company's Health and Safety statement, policy and Risk Assessments.

Quality

• Responsibility and ownership of PSC product quality processes and drawing specifications in line with customer expectations;

Embrace a zero defects and right first time culture within an overall total cost of quality framework.

Delivery

Develop long and short-term capacity plans in order to meet customer demand.

Inventory

Ensure the delivery of a material replenishment strategy in line with the PSC inventory policy.

Productivity

Direct, support and coach your teams in order to secure continuous improvement of the right competencies, efficient working methods and stimulating working environment.

People

Secure resources and competencies to manage the strategy and day-to-day operations.

What you'll need to succeed

Education

Third level degree and / or Master's degree in a relevant engineering or business discipline.

Experience

At least 7–10 years of relevant Technical Industry experience (i.e. truck, construction machines, agriculture or automotive) in production and supply chain management.

At least 5–7 years within a modern factory management role, with 3 to 5 years of which should be at Senior Management level, within a multinational, global company.

In depth knowledge of the principles of Lean Manufacturing and how it supports the overall business strategy.

Languages

Fluent English is necessary.
