Junior Accounting Professional
As a Junior Accounting Professional, you will play a key role in the accounting department, assisting with daily accounting activities and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. This position is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented individual looking to grow their career in finance.
The professional will be responsible for supporting various accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and assisting with month-end closing processes. This role provides an excellent opportunity to learn and develop a strong foundation in accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities :
- Journal Entries :
- Assist in making journal entries in financial and accounting systems, ensuring transactions are correctly classified and recorded.
- Record routine operations such as payments, receipts, billing, and payroll, among others.
- Account Reconciliation :
- Perform bank reconciliations, and reconcile accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, and other balance sheet accounts.
- Identify and investigate potential discrepancies, and accurately and timely reconcile balances.
- Financial Analysis :
- Analyze accounting accounts, identifying variations, trends, and anomalies in balances.
- Prepare account analysis reports and explain variances to the team.
- Reporting :
- Assist in preparing periodic financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Collect and organize financial data to support management's decision-making.
- Tax Compliance :
- Assist in preparing necessary documentation and information to meet tax obligations.
- Stay up-to-date with accounting and tax regulations, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and laws.
- Support for Audits and Closing Processes :
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors by providing requested documentation and information accurately and on time.
- Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of accounting records.
Requirements :
