As a Delivery Director of Professional Services – Brazil, you'll establish priorities for the professional services team implementing projects in Brazil, manage client escalations and expectations, and handle difficult situations with professionalism and empathy to maintain strong, trust-based client relationships.You'll work closely with Sales, Product, and regional and global leadership to guide post-sales implementations and engagements.

Your focus will be on enabling rapid speed to execution by streamlining operational processes, leveraging automation, and fostering a culture of agility.This position requires a proactive approach to managing complex client situations, setting clear expectations, and navigating challenges effectively while driving revenue and profitability through optimized resource utilization and team development.More specifically, you will : Lead successful implementations of Sovos solutions and act as Executive Sponsor for Brazilian ImplementationsAct as a strategic advisor for Professional Services Leadership team, providing guidance on challenges unique to the Brazilian marketPartner with regional and global Professional Services Leaders to implement and adapt global service delivery methodologies while maintaining consistency with Sovos global standardsMonitor team and project performance and establish metrics to assess customer satisfaction, project health, and regional team efficiencyCollaborate with global counterparts to share best practices, improve cross-regional alignment, and foster innovation in service deliveryCultivate a strong team culture by coaching, mentoring, and supporting the professional growth of Brazilian team membersWhat We Need From YouBachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience preferred)10+ years of experience in Professional Services, including 5+ years in a leadership role, preferably in the Brazilian marketExperience with Software solution implementations; Regulatory Tax Compliance / eInvoicing experience preferredProficiency with Sales Force and Cloud CoachFluency in both Portuguese and English (written and spoken) is required; Spanish proficiency is a plusProven experience managing technical and solutions consulting teams with a focus on customer satisfaction and operational excellenceAbility to streamline repeatable processes and accelerate delivery of purchased solutionsStrong financial acumen, with a proven ability to drive revenue and margin delivery, optimize resource utilization, and P&L ManagementStrong collaboration skills with the ability to work across functions and regions to deliver integrated client solutionsExceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on driving results and innovationExperience managing in a fast-paced, dynamic, and customer-focused environmentAbility to travel as needed to support clients and teamsWhile we are a remote organization and this person will work from their home office, we do ask that you are local to São Paulo city.Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check and drug test upon hireWhat Does Sovos Offer You?
