The OpportunityWe are hiring a mid-level Backend Software Engineer to our Fraud & Prevention team in Brazil.Our team is responsible for identifying, preventing, and removing fraudulent actors from Wellhub.

We work closely with all teams inside Wellhub to identify potential fraud vectors and the actions to take in order to prevent and / or remove these fraudulent actors.Your ImpactBachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent practical experienceProactive learner eager to master new technologies and resolve challenging technical issuesNice to have experience with Golang (experience with Java or Kotlin would also be nice to have)Experience with SQL / NoSQL technology (such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB), understanding common use cases and performance pitfallsNice to have experience dealing with event-driven architectures and message brokers (such as KAFKA, AWS SQS, AWS SNS, etc.), understanding of their use cases and pitfallsExperience applying computer science fundamentals : data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysisExperience with microservicesExperience with Cloud-based architectures (AWS experience is nice to have)You have exceptional communication skills that enable you to work effectively with diverse teams located across different countriesIntermediate English skills to clearly articulate ideas when speaking to groups in EnglishLive the mission : inspire and empower others by genuinely caring for your own wellbeing and your colleagues.
