Quality Assurance Analyst - Celergo

Overview

ADP is hiring a Quality Assurance Analyst.

This role involves working with the development team to gather details on features to be developed and using that information to build and execute product testing for ADP's cloud-based human resources solutions to determine customer usability before deployment.

The QA Analyst will advocate for changes to improve the end-user experience of payroll products and work within an agile team to create complex test scenarios and integrate different systems.

The role requires curiosity, persistence, and at times persuasiveness.

You should be familiar with other HCM or payroll products and be prepared to train and mentor junior-level QA professionals.

What you'll do

Agile :

You understand that an agile QA environment requires flexibility.

Working in two-week sprints, you must keep up with timelines and coding standards.

Time constraints and fluidity of work often mean taking a creative approach to our testing strategy.

Your first thought will be to bring it on.

Create & Test :

Create test plans, test cases, and scenarios for large-scale, complex software applications, focusing on verification and validation from an end-user perspective.

Collaborate :

Communicate and collaborate with technical developers and multiple stakeholders.

Articulate clear and compelling reasons to persuade developers to make product changes for the end user's benefit.

Learning :

Always learning new codes and eager to figure things out as you learn.

Challenges :

Expect inevitable challenges and work to find solutions.

Experience :

Bring relevant experience and skills gained in the same or a similar role.

To succeed in this role

You'll have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Experience with some of these products may give you extra comfort in the role :

API testing with Postman or similar

Frameworks like Playwright, Cypress or other next-gen testing automation tool

Development experience with JavaScript and / or TypeScript
