This is a crucial role in QHSE data analysis to ensure workplace safety, compliance with regulations, and driving continuous improvement in QHSE performance.
The individual will be part of the regional QHSE team responsible for strengthening the QHSE team by maintaining a skilled and knowledgeable workforce (local team leaders and QHSE staff) with a focus on operational compliance, site investigations, remediation, and property assessments. Key duties include improving team expertise in the QHSE Management System, overseeing the effectiveness of actions implemented as result of risk prevention, incidents investigations and audit programs.
1. Data collection, management and analysis :
- Collect and compile QHSE data from various sources, such as incident reports, audits, inspections, training records, and environmental monitoring systems.
- Develop and maintain robust databases and data systems to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Conduct daily and weekly reviews of QHSE and sustainability data to identify anomalies, discrepancies, or potential errors, ensuring data integrity.
- Analyze QHSE data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in safety performance, quality outcomes, environmental compliance, and overall QHSE management.
- Perform data extraction and mining to identify trends and check for errors.
- Utilize statistical methods and data visualization tools to interpret data and extract actionable insights.
2. Reporting and communication :
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate QHSE data trends and recommendations to management and stakeholders.Provide data-driven insights to improve QHSE and sustainability performance.Collaborate with teams to support improvement initiatives.Present findings to various audiences.3. System and process improvement :
Analyze current and future data system needs to improve data management and reporting.Implement solutions to streamline data processes.Assist in developing and executing QHSE policies and proceduresConduct training on software and create training content for QHSE data requests.Promote company QHSE processes through training and documentation reviews.4- QHSE control and assurance of our Integrated Management System according to ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISAGO.
Provide feedback to sites through on-site audits, inspections and informal reviews to ensure that site MSM procedures are properly implementedWork with sites to identify risks presented by operations and propose recommendations. Where required, attend or lead process hazard analyses as QHSE subject matter expertQualifications and Competencies :
More than 5 years of progressive experience in EHS leadership, incident reduction in heavy industries like aviation, manufacturing or construction, etcStrong leadership experience ideally in a multi-cultural, international business environment.High experience in risk assessments, accident / incident investigation and root cause analysisProficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).Experience with statistical analysis.Understanding of QHSE management systems and regulations.Communication and collaboration skills.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Able to deal with a wide range of situations and personalities, good interpersonal skillsAble to work well under pressure and maintain a team spirit and cooperative attitudeAble to conduct public speaking, good presentation skillsDetail-oriented, excellent organizational skills and consistentStrong verbal, auditory & written communication skills.Computer literate, with proficient skills in MS-Office suite of programs.Willingness and ability to frequently travel, up to 40% sometimes with little noticeFluent command of English and Portuguese or Spanish (middle level and up)This position Reports directly to the Regional Head of QHSE Latin America and Caribbean
