Summary
This role is responsible for leading the Mechanical Engineering organization in the design and development of mechanical system and product solutions for all HMH Mechanical products, including activities linked to technical improvement and sustaining activities for existing products and components. In addition, this role will drive talent development and engagement for the team, as well as partner with other functional leaders at the site to ensure a high-performance environment within the team.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of design, analysis, or evaluation of HMH Mechanical products using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.
- In coordination with the business product line, develop and execute program plans including budget, schedule, and required resources while being accountable for on time delivery and budget constraints.
- In partnership with the Chief Engineering Office, lead and organize the talent development of the Mechanical organization, including skillset development and cross training to develop a mechanical engineering team capable of covering a broad range of mechanical products.
- Support the Inquiry to Order (ITO) engineering function in the development of commercial bids and proposals and lead the execution Order to Remittance (OTR) projects on time and within budget.
- Support the Services organization in the development of service offerings, resolution of fleet issues, and the execution of root cause analysis activities.
- Develop, lead, and champion productivity initiatives aimed at reducing engineering cost, effort, and cycle time.
- Collaborate across product teams and functions to provide clear organizational direction and alignment.

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university.Minimum of 10 years engineering experience.Prior oilfield experience in Drilling or Subsea Systems.5+ years Team leadership experience.Location : Brazil
