We develop technology and innovation to transform and enhance the overall living experience.With the support of a world-class team of investors and advisors, including Kaszek, Qualcomm, General Atlantic, and SoftBank, Grupo QuintoAndar is currently valued at over USD 5.1 billion and continues to grow year over year.LocationRemote-first in Brazil; option to work from São Paulo offices or partner coworking spaces up to twice a week.What we look forProven experience with Agile development practices, including Scrum or Kanban;Proficient in Java, Kotlin, or JavaScript;Strong understanding of database design and evolution;Experience designing and evolving software architecture from the ground up;Skilled in creating RESTful APIs;Experience with monitoring, observability, and performance tracking;Solid software engineering fundamentals : version control, testing, deployment automation, code reviews, design documentation;Fluency in Portuguese and advanced English.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex software issues and contribute to product evolution;Work with Agile methodologies and participate in ceremonies to improve team processes;Own the software development lifecycle from definition to maintenance;Guard delivery quality, promoting good practices; participate in code and design reviews;Handle complex scenarios at scale, resilience, and fault tolerance;Incidents handling, troubleshooting, post-mortems and preventive actions;Design and maintain scalable and reliable software architecture and design patterns;Drive continuous improvement in how we build software;Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance;Participate in code reviews to ensure high code quality.Seniority and EmploymentSeniority level : Mid-Senior level.
