What you will do

• Design and implement the DataLake DFR tasks that interact with the Task Queue Service;
• As part of CORGI, help the company migrate 50% of EMR-based Spark jobs to run on Kubernetes;
• Help the company minimize manual steps required for migrating each ORC Spark application to Spark-on-K8S by improving automation along with the ORC team and creating necessary documentation / instructions / examples in the meantime;
• Create tooling for monitoring, testing, and data validation that each customer team can use, to verify the success of the migration;

Prioritize migration tasks and collaborate closely with customer teams to ensure the successful migration of at least 50% of Spark workloads from EMR clusters.

Must haves

Upper-Intermediate English level.

Nice to haves

Familiarity with GraphQL.

Requirements

4+ years of experience with React, JavaScript, and CSS; 4+ years of experience in Java, Bootstrap; Upper-Intermediate English level.
