Intermediate Site Reliability Engineer - OP

We invite a proactive and motivated specialist to join our SRE team and provide reliable administrative support to one of the world\'s most recognized corporations with over 34,000 stores across 80 markets.

This role offers a comfortable remote environment for candidates in Brazil, Argentina, or Colombia.

Is that you?

2-3 years of hands-on experience in SRE and / or DevOps roles, directly supporting production environments

Upper-Intermediate English level

Familiarity with alerting and monitoring systems

Competence in performing OS-level tasks on Linux and Windows (package management, user administration, troubleshooting)

Good understanding of networking fundamentals and common protocols (TCP / IP, UDP, HTTP, SMTP, SNMP, DNS, etc.)

Understanding of basic information security principles

Proficiency with SQL commands and ability to write simple queries

Understanding of the SDLC, familiarity with CI / CD concepts, and ability to maintain basic pipelines in Azure DevOps

Azure cloud experience, including provisioning services and resources using Terraform and managing AKS clusters

Ability to create and maintain clear IT documentation

Strong organizational skills, effective communication, attention to detail, and accountability

Willingness to work a 12-hour daytime shift schedule with 2 days off

Desirable

Basic exposure to AWS or another cloud platform, with interest in learning new services

Familiarity with message brokers

Key responsibilities

Provide IT support to the client by handling technical inquiries and resolving / escalating issues promptly

Communicate with the client and their team via chats and calls, respond to alerts, and report progress to stakeholders

Perform various SRE tasks (system maintenance, incident management, automation, performance optimization, and infrastructure management)

Participate in SRE team and client meetings

Create and maintain clear and well-organized IT documentation (alert reports, manuals, etc.)
