We are seeking an experienced and proactive Electrical Supervisor to oversee all electrical systems and operations onboard a drillship.

Responsibilities
Supervise the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of onboard electrical systems, including complex drilling and offshore equipment.Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, electrical codes, and offshore operation standards.Coordinate with the drilling and mechanical teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems in daily operations.Develop, review, and update maintenance schedules for electrical equipment and systems.Conduct routine inspections and testing of all electrical systems to identify and address potential hazards or failures.Provide leadership, guidance, and training to a diverse team of electricians and support crew members.Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and implement long-term solutions for system efficiency.Maintain accurate records of electrical works, inspections, breakdowns, and necessary upgrades for equipment.Contribute to the safety culture on the drillship by adhering to and promoting a safe work environment, including performing safety audits and toolbox talks.Work within teams to prepare for emergencies and respond promptly to electrical system failures or incidents.Experience :
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisor role, preferably on a drillship or semi-submersibleStrong understanding of marine electrical systems, offshore drilling equipment, and high-voltage systems.Technical Skills : Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems, managing control panels, and handling PLC systems.Demonstrated knowledge of international offshore standards, electrical codes, and safety regulations.Proven ability to lead and work with diverse teams in high-pressure and dynamic environments.Physical fitness to work in an offshore setting, with appropriate certifications (e.g., BOSIET, HUET, or OGUK Medical Certificate).Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure effective collaboration across teams.Day-to-day
Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems to ensure uninterrupted operations.Oversee electrical team members, assigning tasks and providing technical guidance as needed.Communicate with the drilling and operations team to address any immediate power or system issues affecting performance.Monitor and report electrical maintenance progress to onboard management and onshore support teams.Document all findings during inspections and repairs, updating maintenance logs accordingly.Provide mentorship to less-experienced team members, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
