  • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance, coaching, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Inspire and motivate the team to deliver high-quality software solutions.

  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, effective communication, and successful project outcomes.

  • Promote and facilitate agile software development practices, including continuous integration, automated testing, and iterative development.

    • Drive a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.

  • As a Software Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve software development processes and implementing best practices.

    • This includes evaluating current methodologies, tools, and workflows to streamline operations, increase efficiency, and enhance the overall quality of software deliverables.

  • As part of operational management, you will proactively identify and manage risks that could impact project timelines, budgets, or quality.

    • This includes implementing risk mitigation strategies, fostering a culture of risk awareness within the team, and ensuring contingency plans are in place to address potential issues.

  • You will establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the team's performance and the success of software development initiatives.

    • Regularly monitoring these metrics will enable you to identify areas for improvement, celebrate successes, and provide transparent reporting to stakeholders.

  • Operational management involves facilitating effective communication and collaboration within the team and with other stakeholders.

    • You will foster a culture of open communication, ensuring that team members have the necessary information, tools, and support to perform their roles effectively.

    You will also facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment and cooperation across different teams or departments.

  • You are meant for this job if
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Fluent English
  • Experience in software engineering, with expertise in Kotlin / Java, TypeScript, React, and AWS technologies.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully leading software engineering teams.
  • Extensive experience in software project management, including planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Deep understanding of software development methodologies, design patterns, and software architecture principles.
  • Proficiency in agile (Scrum) development practices and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in performance optimization, scalability, and security considerations.
  • Passion for learning and staying updated with the latest technologies and industry trends.
