About the role

The Browser Technology Team (BTG) develops cutting-edge technology to make users more productive through an enhanced, more secure web browser experience.

What’s in it for you

As a member of the Browser Technology team you will work cross-functionally to build and scale the next secure web browser experience for users. You will be solving challenging problems in distributed systems at large scale : performance and scalability, high availability, monitoring, visibility and analytics. You will also be exposed to advanced Web technologies, such as Chromium, and highly distributed network features.

What you will be doing

• Building software to provide a scalable framework supporting enablement and rapid deployment of distributed applications and services in a microservice architecture.
• Working with product managers to define the product, working with architects for high-level and detailed architecture design, and coordinating with other teams to complete the solution.
• Ensuring product resiliency and sustainability.
• Coaching, mentoring and encouraging the growth and career progression of team members.
• Establishing best practices and code hygiene in software development.
