ABOUT THE ROLE

Financial Manager; Work Location : São Paulo, Brazil

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Tax Accounting : Calculate the Brazilian company's profits tax monthly and record the profits tax entries accordingly; prepare the Brazilian company's annual income tax return, including tax agent bidding, contract signing, providing tax calculation data, and filing tax documents.
  • Tax Planning : Lead the Brazilian tax planning work and provide relevant consulting support on Brazilian tax issues.
  • Tax Policy Support : Provide Brazilian tax policy support to the local operations team of the Brazilian company; lead the research and management document issuance of Brazilian tax policies.
  • Tax Training : Report the tax risk situation to management regularly and provide corresponding suggestions; organize regional tax training quarterly to improve the team's risk awareness and response capabilities.
  • Tax Audit and Inspection : Responsible for the external audit of the Brazilian company; lead the liaison with the superior unit for tax audits and tax statistics; regularly report on the problems found in internal and external audits and inspections and the rectification status.
  • Tax Intermediary Management : Responsible for coordinating outsourcing of tax consulting and other services in Brazil, proposing procurement needs, supervising the implementation of Brazilian tax outsourcing procurement tenders, tracking the service quality of tax outsourcing agencies monthly, and outputting evaluation results.
  • Risk Management : Ensure that the company's tax declarations and payments in Brazil strictly comply with local laws and regulations to avoid fines or legal disputes caused by violations; proactively assess potential tax risks brought about by business changes (such as new market entry, mergers and acquisitions, and business model adjustments), including key areas such as transfer pricing, permanent establishments, and indirect taxes; formulate and implement regional tax risk management policies and internal control mechanisms to ensure the accuracy of tax data and the standardization of processes, and reduce the risk of operational errors; lead the handling of tax audits, investigations, or litigation cases, communicate and coordinate with local tax authorities, control the escalation of disputes, and reduce financial losses.
  • Tax File Management : In accordance with the regulatory requirements of Brazilian government agencies, complete the organization of tax-related vouchers; revise and summarize tax-related operation manuals.
  • Complete other tasks assigned by superiors.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum Relevant Educational Degree : Bachelor's Degree
  • Relevant Major : Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analysis, Finance, Computer Science
  • Relevant Professional Knowledge or Skills : Accounting, Statistics, Computer Science
  • Preferred Relevant Work Experience : At least 3 years of experience in Brazilian tax-related work
  • Qualifications and Certifications : Intermediate Accountant or Chinese / overseas CPA / ACCA professional qualification or above, Tax Agent Qualification
  • Language Requirements : Chinese, English
  • Other Requirements : Brazilian work experience, valid work visa
