DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong Azure and DevOps experience to design, deploy, and support data infrastructure for our retail applications. The ideal candidate will combine data engineering skills with cloud automation and DevOps practices to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability in Azure.

This role is hybrid based in Sao Paulo

on a contractual-basis, full-time hours, projected to be a year long, and for a global IT consulting firm.

Key Responsibilities : Build and maintain data and cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure. Develop and manage CI / CD pipelines for data and application deployments. Support

SQL

databases and BI tools (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS). Automate cloud provisioning using Terraform, ARM templates, and scripting (Python, PowerShell). Manage and monitor resources in

Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

and other Azure services. Implement and maintain alerting and monitoring (Azure Monitor, Grafana). Ensure security, performance, and cost optimization of cloud environments. Collaborate with developers and business teams to align DevOps and data practices with business needs.

Required Skills & Experience : 8–10+ years of IT experience with strong

Azure Cloud

and

DevOps

background. Hands-on experience with

AKS , VMs, networking, and Azure databases. Strong SQL and data integration experience

(SSIS / SSRS / SSAS) OR similar BI reporting tools . Proficiency in Python and PowerShell scripting. Experience with

Terraform ,

Azure DevOps , or similar CI / CD tools. Knowledge of containerization ( Docker / Kubernetes ) and infrastructure automation. Familiar with cloud security and disaster recovery practices.

Preferred Qualifications : Microsoft Certified : Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Solutions Architect. Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) is a plus. Experience in the retail energy (power & gas) industry is an advantage.
