Data Engineer | Azure Data Platform (Remote)

We're expanding our Data Platform Operations team and looking for an experiencedData Engineerwith strongAzure administrationandsoftware engineeringskills.

This role combinesoperational excellenceanddevelopment capability , supporting and enhancing enterprise data solutions within the Azure ecosystem.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and optimize Azure resources : Data Lake, Databricks, Data Factory, AKS, Azure SQL, and Unity Catalog

Design, build, and maintain automation scripts, tools, and pipelines to improve platform reliability

Develop and enhance data workflows usingPython, SQL, and CI / CD tools(Terraform, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)

Monitor and troubleshoot performance, availability, and cost efficiency

Apply security and compliance best practices ( RBAC, access policies, MICS, SOC2 )

ProvideL2 / L3 supportfor data and analytics services, ensuring timely and effective incident resolution

Collaborate closely withdata engineers, BI developers, and cloud architectsto deliver robust, scalable solutionsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

5+ years of experiencein Azure Data Engineering, Administration, or SRE

Strong hands-on skills withDatabricks, ADF, AKS, Airflow, Azure SQL, and Unity Catalog

Proven experience insoftware development and automation(Python, PowerShell, Azure CLI, Terraform)

Familiarity withDevOps, CI / CD, and software lifecycle management

Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities

Preferred certifications : AZ-104, Databricks Administration, ITIL FoundationDesired ProfileTechnically engaged and self-driven

Takes ownership from issue detection through resolution

Proactive, collaborative, and accountable
