What You'll Do

As an experienced Data Scientist, you will operate in a technical lead role within our AI business unit, supporting Blackpoint's cybersecurity mission to stop cyber-attacks and protect our rapidly growing customer base.

You will directly contribute to developing our AI products and features, reporting to the Head of Artificial Intelligence.

Who You Are

We are looking for someone with :

5+ years of hands-on Data Science experience, with a proven track record of deploying AI products into production.

Experience in building efficient, secure, and reliable architectures.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decisions.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all stakeholder levels.

Experience in :

Cloud-based ML development (AWS)

Data ingestion & wrangling (Spark, EMR, SageMaker)

Feature engineering (Feature Pipelines, Feature Store)

Model development, analysis, & deployment (SageMaker, Airflow)

Inference streams & event-driven processing (Kafka, Spark)

Scripting (Python, Bash)

Query languages (SQL, KSQL)

Containerized services (Docker, Kubernetes)

MLOps workflows (SageMaker, MLFlow)

GitFlow & DevOps best practices

Nice to Have : Time-series analysis

Transformer neural networks

Agile Scrum methodology

Programming in Scala or Java

Experience in cybersecurity, IoT, or NLP fields

How You'll Make an Impact

Define, implement, train, and evaluate ML models.

Design algorithms for data ingestion, wrangling, and transformation.

Perform feature engineering to enhance model inputs.

Conduct statistical analyses aligned with stakeholder objectives.

Deploy scalable, containerized models and algorithms.

Create dashboards and utilities for model monitoring and governance.

Follow best practices for data, feature, and model lifecycle management.

Contribute to AI architecture and system design.

Collaborate with Engineering, SOC, and APG teams.
