ZTE Brazil is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Test Engineer with hands-on experience in the telecommunications sector, particularly in GPON and CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) technologies. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of ZTE’s broadband network solutions.

Technical Skills Requirements

Networking Protocols : Proficiency in TCP / IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, NAT, PPPoE, IPv4 / IPv6, QoS, and Wi-Fi (802.11 standards).

CPE Devices : Experience with home routers, modems, ONTs, gateways.

Testing Tools : Knowledge of tools like Wireshark, iPerf, IxChariot, Spirent, or similar network testing tools.

Operating Systems : Experience with Windows, Linux, and embedded systems.

1+ years of experience with CPE validation, test.

Advanced English Communication.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Good communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.

Ability to document test results and write reports clearly.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute test plans for CPE devices.

Perform functional, regression, and performance testing.

Debug and troubleshoot network issues.

Automate test cases to improve efficiency.

Work with development teams to report and resolve defects.

Ensure compliance with industry standards (TR-069, TR-369etc.).

Support field trials and customer issue replication.
