Job Purpose and ImpactThe O / A Logistics Operator will handle general shipments of incoming and outgoing goods, following proper procedures and understanding warehouse processes.
Under regular guidance, you will complete activities related to receiving and documenting shipments and ensuring accurate record-keeping.Key AccountabilitiesReview and complete shipping and receiving documentation, input information into computerized systems, and resolve discrepancies or issues as needed, following process and procedure knowledge.Perform cycle counts.Secure trucks with chocks and load and unload vehicles.Operate powered mobile equipment.Collaborate with peers and management to improve operational efficiency, with authority to make small changes as directed by management.Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including lockout / tagout and equipment shutdowns, maintaining a safe and clean work environment.Perform other assigned duties.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Availability to work rotating shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts), including weekends.At Cargill, everyone is valued.
