FULL REMOTE - Senior iOS Engineer / Senior iOS Developer - Brazil

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior iOS Engineer to join our team at Side. You will play a key role in designing and building robust and high-performance native iOS applications, ensuring code quality and maintainability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic and multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain native iOS applications.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Maintain code quality and automatization.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in native iOS development.
• Strong experience with multi-threaded and asynchronous programming.
• Proficient in Object-Oriented Programming and SOLID principles .
• Experience with design patterns such as MVC and MVVM .
• Strong knowledge of RxSwift and RxCocoa .
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect to backend services.
• Experience with CI / CD tools (e.g., Jenkins), JIRA , Confluence .
• Knowledge of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines .
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Experience with Agile methodologies .

Nice to Have

• Experience with XCTest Framework and UI Testing .
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills, especially in multithreaded and performance-critical apps.
• Ability to adapt to tight deadlines and fast-paced development cycles.
• Experience with audio / video real-time communication , including protocols such as RTSP , RTP , HLS .
• Familiarity with SIP , H265 / H264 codecs , FFMPEG , and WebRTC .
• Experience delivering real-time streaming video at scale using modern iOS technologies ( [provide examples if applicable] ).
