Senior Software Engineer (Nodejs / Typescript)

We are working on behalf of a fast-scaling payments solutions business that is rapidly expanding its engineering capabilities and currently looking to bring on board experienced Senior Software Engineers.

You'll join a vibrant and diverse engineering team focused on delivering impactful solutions using modern technologies and practices.What You'll Be Doing : Backend Development : Design, build, and deploy scalable and maintainable backend systems within a cloud-native environment (AWS).Cross-Team Collaboration : Partner with product, design, and engineering peers to shape solutions from conception to release.Reliability and Monitoring : Implement observability tooling (alerts, logging, metrics), and take part in post-incident investigations to strengthen system resilience.Continuous Improvement : Keep current with emerging tools and industry trends to inform best practices and maintain a future-ready tech stack.What We're Looking For : Proven experience in backend software development, with a strong history of delivering production-quality systems.Technical Skills we are looking for : Deep knowledge of scalable architecture and design patterns.Strong expertise in Node.js and TypeScript, including experience with NestJS, serverless frameworks, and AWS Lambda.Experience with event-driven and microservice-based architectures.Problem Solving : Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills.Data Handling : Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or AWS Aurora.
