We are looking for a visionary and execution-oriented VP of Payments to lead the development and execution of our global payments strategy. This role sits within our Engineering team and will be instrumental in ensuring AstroPay continues to deliver seamless, secure, and scalable payment solutions to our users across the world.

About the Role

As the VP of Payments at AstroPay, you’ll be at the forefront of one of our most critical areas : the infrastructure that powers seamless transactions across the globe. This is a high-impact leadership role where strategic thinking meets technical execution. You’ll be responsible for driving the long-term vision, scalability, and performance of our payments & transfers ecosystem, while ensuring the team delivers innovative, secure, and efficient solutions. Partnering closely with Product, Risk, Compliance and Finance, you’ll play a key role in shaping how we move money — safely, instantly, and globally. This is a unique opportunity to influence the payments experience of millions of users in a rapidly evolving fintech environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global payments engineering strategy and execution, from UI to banking partner operations.
• Design scalable and resilient systems that support real-time transactions across multiple regions and providers.
• Manage and grow a high-performing engineering team, fostering ownership and excellence.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Finance, Risk, and Compliance.
• Monitor key metrics and own system performance, uptime, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
