Amberes has partnered with a leading PE-backed, Cyber and Back Up Business in search of a new / growth hire - Sales Engineering Manager to lead a team across Latin America. As the Manager of the team, you’ll drive technical pre-sales efforts, support deal execution, and manage a team aligned with regional sales goals. This role combines leadership and direct involvement in strategic opportunities.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead and coach a regional Sales Engineering team, ensuring strong technical execution.Align team output with sales goals; oversee training, performance, and workload balancing.Support key deals as a senior technical expert, shaping proposals and guiding customers.Ensure high-quality responses to RFPs / RFIs and technical documentation.Collaborate with sales and product teams to share market feedback and drive improvement.Track and report on pre-sales activities; identify areas to improve win rates.Requirements :
Fluent in EnglishAt least 5+ years in the IT industry, including 3+ years in pre-sales or solutions engineering.At least 3+ years in a technical leadership role managing Sales Engineers, Solution Consultants or Technical Account ManagersStrong understanding of any form of cybersecurity , or backup, disaster recovery, and storage solutions.Solid knowledge of virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).If of interest, please apply!
